Unfathomable Love of Jesus Christ

Appointed Time-The End of the Age?

“We are not so smart as He is dumb”

My apologies for the three year hiatus. A move prompted by God to the mission field and the subsequent struggle to establish a small, but thriving, church here in the wilds of southern Colorado, caused a delay, but here I am back to the Blog, and glad to be.

Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time…”
Daniel 5:33 “The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men…”

Since the last post in 2008, candidate Obama is now President Obama, he who lifted his hand in February 2011 and started a world wide neo-Bolshevik revolution, his agenda stated by me in 2008, he and our Congress having collapsed our economy and destroyed our foundations in these few short years. Homosexuality is now not only legal in our society and military, but we who oppose it are now subject to hate crime laws. The first target of the “Arab Spring” was Coptic Christians, who were murdered in the name of Islam. The Muslim Brotherhood is being handed entire countries by our President and Congress, with the aid of the U.N. and the EU. “Occupy Wall Street” has now “randomly” spread around the world with the help of George Soros. The world global monetary system is in collapse. The U.S., the EU, and many of the world’s governments are looking for a savior.

The scriptural references I use are regarding an “appointed time”. Throughout the Bible, we see this idea, from Genesis to Revelation.

One has to ask, “Is this the appointed time of the end?” Can we Christians pray away the evil we see being introduced to the entire world, and especially in and from our nation? Is there anything a plain Christian like ourselves can do to stop such a Satanically oriented plan? Or has God Himself appointed this as a time of judgement, the time of the End of the Age?

Knowing that there is an end to this age and that it results in the return of Jesus Christ to set up His new kingdom, we, as Christians, look forward to His return and yet, in Revelation, we see that we are going to go through persecution, including beheadings, and a time of great strife and want. Jesus tells us not to pray for the hastening of this time, it’s that full of disaster, harshness, and death.

Some Christians believe we will be spared the hard times of Revelation, being “raptured” before these times even start. But between Revelation 20:5 which occurs AFTER the apocalypse (“This is the first resurrection.”) and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (“…and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds”), there remains no doubt that Christians will not be “raptured”, that, if we live until that time, we will see the fulfillment of the book of Revelation first hand.

I personaly believe we are close to the end. The stone building blocks for the Jewish Temple are completed, and the Temple will take no time at all to erect. All the implements for worship await, and all that needs to be accomplished is for the seals of Revelation to be opened. Theologically speaking, they already may have been, their being so seemingly vague.

Concerning the “End of the Age”, Jesus said no man knows the day nor the hour of his return, but He also stated, regarding His return, that we should be aware of the signs of the times.

I’m not going to be a Harold Camping, but I’ll say this. We are at the cusp, we are at the beginning of the beginning of the end. The first two seals of Revelation 6 MAY have already been opened. We COULD be in that period right now. Never before in history has the ability for a truly global system, needed for the antichrist to set up his own system, been available. Israel becoming a nation, a global monetary system, global communications, all point to the basis of the antichrist system that heralds the End of the Age and the return of Christ.

All I’ll say is this about that. Keep your lamp filled with the oil of the Holy Spirit, keep your wick well trimmed, watch and pray.

The Holy Spirit will let ALL Christians know. Every one of my Christian friends and acquaintances believe we are there, at the tipping point.

I’ll leave it for you to decide, but the time of the end is appointed, and when it arrives, all the prayer in the world will not change the course of the return of our King, Jesus Christ.

Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
