The “true” Christian church has always been defined by those who had the power. And the heretics more often than not suffered a terrible and bloody fate for their “heresy”, dissent, or non-conformity.

Either the power that comes through the use of swords, guns and bombs.

Or those that control or controlled the language. Especially those that put together the scriptures.

And who spoke, or rather lived the true gospel, in post-Reformation Europe during the decades long wars between the Protestants and Catholics. Millions were thus thus slaughtered and wholesale destruction of properety crops and churches, was the (dis)-order of the day.

And werent the Ku Klux Klan good ol boy white southern christians? Strange fruit indeed.

As were the people that created the Apartheid state in South Africa.

And wasnt the church heavily involved in, and indeed gave its blessing to, the African slave trade. How many millions were thus murdered and treated as sub-humans.

And isnt good ol boy white christian america the worlds largest maker, owner, seller and USER of weapons of all kinds, especially WMD’s?

Who would Jesus bomb?

Which gun or guns would Jesus recommend that people own and use?

How old should a child be before he/she is introduced to the “culture” of guns. And given his/her first gun.

And then there’s the atheists, via the likes of Stalin. 40 million mostly Christians murdered during the Bolshevik revolution.

Jesus died for YOU. Not religion, not a church. Jesus. Time to turn from your own ways and embrace Him. Quit using religion as an excuse. It’s about Jesus, not a religion.

One need not deny something that has yet to be proven.

Same goes for spirit.

Show us that spirit exists, and then we’ll gladly argue about the specifics of it with you.

But we can’t argue with you about the color of your pet invisible dragon until you can show us that this creature exists.

You enter a theological conversation denying the basic premise, God is. Except you believe this, there is no conversation. Your removing the third leg from the stool, that of “spirit”.

Man’s denial does not change the nature of the almighty and loving God.

Satan “put” sickness on Job. “And the Lord said unto Satan; Behold, all that he has is in thine [Satan's] power…”. God doesn’t make Christians sick, but he allows sickness, having created Satan with the propensity for evil. To be fair, I must note that God has Himself destroyed and put plagues on the rebellious, but regarding this blog I am speaking to the individual believer who is struggling in faith, God’s own child. Job could be considered such.

Studies showed that I was to become progressively blind. That is the only evidence of blindness I can show you. No study was conducted of my own healing. In my experience, most studies prove their original suppositions. No consensus was called from the population who can represent supernatural healing, but I’m sure that a leading expert such as Pat Robertson or Oral Roberts could present overwhelming testimony supporting such.

As to Christians not being healed, a young man I prayed for was healed off of his death bed, only to die of different causes a few years later in spite of all prayers. That’s a tough one, and if you can explain the theology behind it I’d be obliged.

But don’t forget, death and sickness are God’s enemies. And we can’t quit the fight of faith just because there’s a casualty. Abraham believed that, even if he killed, cut up, and burnt Isaac to ashes, he would nevertheless resurrect and fulfill God’s promise. That’s the kind of faith we should have toward healing.

Again, no one ever asked Jesus to make them sick, but only to heal them. And he healed everyone who asked.

Obama has been raised in a radical revolutionary theology and philosophy for most of his adult life. He cut Wright off for political expediency, but has never denounced Cone.

However much you would personally question Christianity as a religion, simply disregarding Obama’s associations because of your own prejudice against Christianity is ill advised.

Historically, when totalitarian powers such as represented by Obama’s mentors comes into power, the first institution to suffer persecution is the Church due to its deep influence in society regarding the Church’s intolerance of oppression and anti Christian philosophy such as totalitarian socialism. We’ve seen this in Stalinist Russia and Nazi Germany.

This is the reason for this particular blog. We have handled all sorts of presidents in our nation’s history, and we’ve survived. I truly can’t say that we would survive such a radical revolutionist whose public persona belies such an anti American and anti Christian political and philosophical paradigm.

I hope that you would further research Obama’s associations, some of whom he writes of in his own books.

Obama doesn’t even believe the same things as Reverend Wright. Why are you equating these people together by association? Why would he want to redistribute wealth to the poor blacks? He is very wealthy himself and is biracial.

Christianity in general uses deception to recruit followers. The entire religion is one big scam, so you are like a pot calling the kettle black.

I’m pleased to hear of your own healing, but I can’t help but think of all the Christians that aren’t healed and the non-Christians that are healed. In fact, studies have shown that there is essentially no difference between the two. How would you address that?

Back to sorry…When I say I’m sorry you are upset, I am not apologizing, I am stating a fact. I am sorry that you are upset. Firstly, as an empathetic person, I really AM sorry you are upset. Upset is not a good place to be. Happy is a good place to be. Mellow is a good place to be. Upset, not so good. I feel your suffering in your upset place and am sorry FOR YOU. Secondly, when you are upset it colors the atmosphere around you and I happen to be in that atmosphere of your upset. Consequently, I am affected by your upset in an existential way.
I will continue to say I am sorry. The world is a place full of hurt and I am very sorry for those who suffer, even if it is at the hands of their own twisted psychs.

I think the woman’s sorry you speak of is part of who we are, empathetic, nurturing, caring. These are generally not traits associated with men.

I’m sorry if you have had difficulties in the past with understanding the nature of the female sorry. I am sorry for you because it caused you to view women as other than they actually were. What you apparently perceive as weakness is actually giving, loving and caring.

I hope I have helped you see our sorry for what it is, a selfless (sometimes) verbal pat on the back.
